Join us as we celebrate the life and lasting impact of Dr. O’dell Moreno Owens, a true
champion of hope and change in our community. In 2021, he established the Dr. O’dell
Moreno Owens Scholarship Fund at the Cincinnati Scholarship Foundation to support
the very youth he devoted his life to uplifting. Following his untimely passing in 2022,
his vision remains unfinished—his scholarship is not yet endowed.

This special event is dedicated to continuing Dr. Owens’ work, ensuring that Black
and Brown students with financial need from Cincinnati Public Schools, Covington
Independent, and Newport Independent Schools have the opportunity to pursue
higher education.
